Debra is the author of The Clarity Effect: Simple Leadership Principles for Creating a Culture of Purpose, Passion and Performance. Her passion is simple and powerful - Enriching the world by transforming businesses and improving lives through clarity. 
 
Debra specializes in supporting organizations to increase clarity and alignment of the company’s vision and strategy, drive team effectiveness and develop leadership qualities and skills.

This passion comes from her personal experience both in the corporate world and her consulting practice. As a leader herself, she made some of the same mistakes she hears about from a variety of business partners such as poor communication and the challenges of working in dysfunctional cultures that lack effective leadership, clarity, alignment and focus throughout businesses.

 

Debra believes that organizational excellence comes from leaders operating as a unified team to produce, prepare and communicate clearly and consistently the company’s vision and strategy. The vision includes values, purpose, structure, processes, direction and more. This requires fully aligning each department, team and individual to that vision. It demands the core leadership of the business commit to developing the vision, team unity, and leaders. Achieving a highly engaged culture, which in turn increases productivity and profitability, requires discipline, effective communication and consistent reinforcement and implementation of the company vision at all levels in the business.
