This is an assessment-based learning program that has a simple, yet strategic goal: consulting and facilitating an experience that helps professionals and their organizations learn how to build a truly cohesive and effective team in the most approachable, competent, and effective way possible.

The Five Dysfunctions assessment, which provides both individual and team feedback, is grounded in the model described in the best selling fable by Patrick Lencioni, The Five Dysfunctions of a Team. Forming a cohesive, productive team takes work, but the payoff can be huge—for individuals, the team, and the organization.

The program is designed exclusively for intact teams and work groups. The Five Dysfunctions of a Team harnesses the power of working as a unified team to achieve organizational goals and objectives


How does it work?

The Five Dysfunctions Model is used to help team members learn to work together more efficiently and effectively and become a more cohesive team. A productive, high-functioning team:

  • Makes better, faster decisions

  • Taps into the skills and opinions of all members

  • Avoids wasting time and energy on politics, confusion, and destructive conflict

  • Avoids wasting time talking about the wrong issues and revisiting the same topics over and over again because of a lack of buy-in Creates a competitive advantage

What is involved in the Workshop?

Prior to the Workshop:

  • Participants complete The Five Dysfunctions of a Team assessment. The assessment includes questions about the team’s strengths and weaknesses and about the team member’s individual personality preferences.

  • We recommend each participant read or listen to “The Five Dysfunctions of a Team” book.


During the Workshop:

  • Duration: Two days (with shorter duration programs available)

  • Participants receive the Five Dysfunctions of a Team customized report, which contains important insights that guides the team on a journey to achieving higher levels of team unity and cohesion.

  • Participant engage in a variety of activities through the program designed to support the development of each skill.  

  • We focus on building action plans that are simple and strategic, enabling them to take quick action back on the job
